On topic: My rotation to start fights is this:

Raging Strikes > Bio 2 > Miasma > Bio > Fester > Contaion > Swiftcast Shadow Flare > Rouse > Ruin II > Spur > Ruin II > Enkindle > Fester

Refresh DoTs as necessary and recast Shadowflare when it's down. Weave Ruin II before Festers for extra damage when MP allows it. Use Rouse/Spur when they're ready, save them if the enemy will be off screen and can't be damaged.
