How do I change what I'm targetting?!

There are now three targeting modes. One of them is designed for use by a controller, and requires controller button combinations to change targeting type. It is possible you are stuck in that mode.

/tmode a
/tmode b
/tmode c

Those are the commands for the various targeting modes; pick which one you want (I think B is the controller one, but I'm not sure).

it sounds like you're locked on to something, hit the * button on the number-pad, and I think on the game-pad you just press in the left stick
