Give us 4 man raid dungeons *mind blown*
1-4 man end game content would be awesome, possibly something without a dungeon lockout so that I'm not restricted to using my static group and only raiding on X-days of the week. Finding another 7 people seems to be the biggest issue when it comes to coil atm and a smaller group would allow for us to train fewer people faster than trying to teach several new people every damn week because people don't know how to show up on time or RL gets in the way.
Pharos is really my favorite one tho, even if they nerfed it, its a pretty fantastic dungeonPeople will just find ways to steamroll it anyway... or completely avoid it because there's better ways of obtaining a 'reward' in less the effort.
Also gatherers complained about hunts interrupting them which is starting to become on-par with the heavy debuff... so more threats = more annoyance with the playerbase.

I keep reading this everywhere. Playin for a reward. People want meaningfull reward for stuff that isn't even really hard but push you to actually be focused ... like clearin the dungeon efficiently is not a reward in itself. Thats the problem with mmos now, nobody do them for fun.
Pre nerf Pharaos took ~25 minutes since it had a really easy final boss that didn't even require for anyone to move whatsoever. What kill the envy is misinformation, and negative stuff beein spreaded out instead of actually doin efforts at doin more than mindlessly pushin buttons.
Its however interesting to see that people want harder dungeons, but we all know what will happen if SE go in that direction. I mean Ramuh EX say hello ... the fight is really fun but nobody do it because "lack" of rewards. Nobody want to pvp even to get the armor because "I want the rank restriction removed on it to actually glamour shit".

The mentality is caused by the design of the genre. If you aren't actively increasing your item level at any opportunity you fall behind a curve of what's expected. Even if you want to do something, if other players decide it's not time-efficient, they won't do it. Remember when you could only solo in Duty Roulette, and every other time you got Lost City or prenerf Pharos some jagoff would go offline, even though you were perfectly happy to do the dungeon? That's the result of poor time->reward balance.
It's sad, but inescapable, and is a reality that needs to be designed around.
(Also, what? You had to move for a lot of things on Siren. Whoever has Sergeants should be kiting them. When she jumps you either need to run in so the whole party doesn't get hit with song or out so you don't get whacked by charge. Pre-nerf, letting crap like that happen meant your healer's job was almost impossible.)

I'll agree to tougher dungeons if and ONLY if these posers are not allowed to jump ship as soon as the dungeon appears.
I'd be curious whether the people clamoring for harder dungeons are the same people who DF-shopped for Brayflox' Longstop HM.
PS pre nerf was hard to speed run lol. But i noticed tht it all mattered on how good ur healer was.
Knowing myself, i decided to try the alternative of let healer carry team by cheesing mechanics with the abnormal healer hp.
At that time i had around 5.8k hp i think. So i kited the dogs ( like literally all of them while dealing with the stacks / explosions. ), i healed thru zu and the adds ( just like t2 enrage) and i even kited the adds in siren while dpsing and healing lol. Ppl were always saying " well thts new" "damnnnnnn" etc and giving me comms. I did PS for fun as i wanted to practice these strats lol.
And i did all tht without ballad and with full tank accessories ( gimped healing).
It was challenging but it made the run smooth and quick !
Yes please, lets remove any sense of getting better equip.
Why dont you just search yourself 3 more people, and join this instances with the minimum of requirements.
Items that were ment to be for glamour only, always have been level 1.
It might be kinda pointless to join any 2.3 dungeons for better equip, since the hunt can get you full 90ilvl within less than 8 hours, still it wasnt ment to be for "glamour only".
Why bother with dungeons anyway? Everyone is fate zergging now since it's faster and easier to do.... Sad but true....
Wouldn't it be smarter to just use the ilvl sync function they created for the frontlines in dungeons. That way new people can complete the dungeons, and you can't just steamroll them with high ilvl players.
Too Hard and people leave as soon as they get the dungeon, Too Easy and people cry that they want harder dungeon. SE can't win! How about this, don't like it, don't do it, or don't play at all!
