    Please Buff 2.4 Dungeons

Either add Ex Mode Dungeon option (a la WoW Heroics) or Beef up the HM's a bit... tired of easily steam-rolling all the pre-Coil content, including CT/ST.

I'll ask again too, please implement some threat to the over world, Heavy Debuff doesn't count.

P.S. I mean predominantly in terms of mechanics. Statistics count for something, but I'm asking you make dungeons less mindless, especially for the over-geared which' quickly accomplished (if not already for much of the playerbase).

Perhaps implement an ilvl desync to brand new dungeons, it can be removed afterward if anything. But while it's fresh, give us a fun challenge to conquer. For the undergeared it won't make a difference anyway, for the overgeared, provided you infuse even slightly harder/more complex mechanics into the trash/bosses, it'll at least allow us to have fun with them for far longer & not immediately outclass them.

At least give us the OPTION to more challenging/mechanically complex dungeons (a la WoW Heroic's). Even if they're PF only in the beginning like the hardest Ex Primals.

Make interesting trash encounters that take strategy, make us use bind/kite/slow/off-tank/one-ilm. There's enough cc overlap or diverse capabilities, you can design it in a way where players don't feel forced to bring a certain class. Sure, maybe MNK's one-ilm would be useful on this mob, but not break the dungeon so badly teams feel they need a MNK. This boss is harder without a Silence but the next without a strong Kiter, etc.

Last boss of SV HM is interesting but still lacking, bc seriously all you have to do the entire time is hover on his flank when he's acting, keeping one eye on the other.

SV EX ex. 3 of that boss, beefier with a new flank attack & they're Quick (attack animations & movement! They can now be slowed/stunned/ilm'd & 1 is invincible at a time. Even more (not necessarily all these ideas, I'm just having fun with it), mix it up by having the bosses fake you out sometimes lol. Perhaps some of his attacks Bind or Heavy or Stun you, keep that healer cleansing debuffs.

Stuff like that, that would be a blast.

Harder yes, but doable for all with practice & so much fun. More focus on progressing our skill as players isn't a bad thing.

And ilvl sync would only harm the SCoB killers really, but I feel confident most of them would welcome challenging dungeons they can't simply train wreck (if the reward:time ratio were proportional or special rewards existed, perhaps simply add Allied Seal reward, drop the region's A Rank in there haha, or same gear-look as current HM drops but +5ilvl & different color palette or dyeable).

You could even keep these off DF for a time just like how the hardest Ex Primals are PF only.

    Yeah, gl with that.

Sadly, since 2.4 will reset progresses, they'll want the dungeons to be doable by people in iLevel 90 who just came back.

They don't have to make all the dungeons like that. Pretty easy to give options to everyone.

    I agree, but Yoshi doesn't.

Also the fanbase in this game feels like everything needs to accessible to everyone.

I am all for harder 4 man content. No reason to buff anything though just item level sync players to the dungeons recommended level or a few above it. Grab some friends and go try Titan HM and adjust your ilevels to 57(without a i90+ weapon). It's actually pretty difficult at that point.

The new hard mode dungeons were a step in the right direction, at their minimum ilvl they are actually somewhat formidable. It's still far too easy to overgear them however. Now that players have had the chance to use their myth tomes for two patches for i90 gear, as well as supplement that with i80 gear from the new HM dungeons and i100 or greater soldiery and raid gear, as well as considering that i100 will likely become uncapped in 2.4, I can't see why we shouldn't have the opportunity for some decent gear checks alongside new mechanics. I'm in full support!

Edit: I also support the ilvl sync idea, although finding a way to encourage players to use it would be a bit trickier

People will just find ways to steamroll it anyway... or completely avoid it because there's better ways of obtaining a 'reward' in less the effort.
Also gatherers complained about hunts interrupting them which is starting to become on-par with the heavy debuff... so more threats = more annoyance with the playerbase.

    Pharos Sirius, never forget.

Pharos is really my favorite one tho, even if they nerfed it, its a pretty fantastic dungeon

It was that they weren't freaking worth doing because they took too long any more

I keep reading this everywhere. Playin for a reward. People want meaningfull reward for stuff that isn't even really hard but push you to actually be focused ... like clearin the dungeon efficiently is not a reward in itself. Thats the problem with mmos now, nobody do them for fun.

Pre nerf Pharaos took ~25 minutes since it had a really easy final boss that didn't even require for anyone to move whatsoever. What kill the envy is misinformation, and negative stuff beein spreaded out instead of actually doin efforts at doin more than mindlessly pushin buttons.

Its however interesting to see that people want harder dungeons, but we all know what will happen if SE go in that direction. I mean Ramuh EX say hello ... the fight is really fun but nobody do it because "lack" of rewards. Nobody want to pvp even to get the armor because "I want the rank restriction removed on it to actually glamour shit".

Huh. Pretty sad gaming mentality if you ask me

The mentality is caused by the design of the genre. If you aren't actively increasing your item level at any opportunity you fall behind a curve of what's expected. Even if you want to do something, if other players decide it's not time-efficient, they won't do it. Remember when you could only solo in Duty Roulette, and every other time you got Lost City or prenerf Pharos some jagoff would go offline, even though you were perfectly happy to do the dungeon? That's the result of poor time->reward balance.

It's sad, but inescapable, and is a reality that needs to be designed around.

(Also, what? You had to move for a lot of things on Siren. Whoever has Sergeants should be kiting them. When she jumps you either need to run in so the whole party doesn't get hit with song or out so you don't get whacked by charge. Pre-nerf, letting crap like that happen meant your healer's job was almost impossible.)
