Tune new dungeons for i90 then. Means you can't just steamroll if you're new.
But still can if you're not, heh.

As long as "buff 2.4 dungeons" isn't taken as "add more trash mobs," I wouldn't mind.
Also, they should make all the drops level 1 so it's understood that it's meant to be glamour, so people don't get butthurt when the i110 warrior rolls need on a sweet looking chest piece.

I think they have to add more crowd control to the damage dealing jobs before they can really beef things up. Currently the only two classes with any CC are black mage and white mage.
Their goal is to leave the end game dungeons in a state doable by people who are relatively new to 50, but have some gear under their belts. That way the dungeons won't divide up the available player base and make it harder to get into one.

Bards have shadowbind, smn has miasma and tri disaster, blm has sleep, monks have 1lp and AOD, Drgs have..oh wait.... It's not enough to increase hp and dmg proportionately and throwing some reskinned mobs into new hm dungeons. There needs to be some interesting mechanics like the ones in Sunken temple and Aurum Vale. You know, making players actually use the abilities they have at their disposal.I think they have to add more crowd control to the damage dealing jobs before they can really beef things up. A simple example off the top of my head would be a trash pack of 3 mobs would have a leader and his hp and dmg is buffed by 300% if he is within 8 yalms of the other 2, effectively 1 shotting the tank. So groups either have to sleep the leader and kill the other 2 mobs or kite the leader away from the other 2 and killing them first. I'm sure there are many more examples that they can think of instead of AOEing everything down to kingdom come.

There are actually a couple I can think of, copperbell hard mode's big hecatonheir guys buff themselves with damage up, as well as the final boss(es) in stone vigil hard mode. Granted, not very many and not very game impacting, but there are scattered instances.
The point is that is has to be game impacting. Which monk would want to waste a gcd and use 1LM and potentially lose dps when its not going to make a difference to the final outcome? Take ADS for example, when coil1 was still relevant, it was imperative to silence ADS if not the raid wide paralysis would most likely wipe you. Now with the echo, hardly anyone even bothers since the group still downs ADS anyway.
I could see the 2.4 dungeons requiring either i80 or i90.
I miss MMOs where trash was difficult and you had to CC and work together and not just gather up and aoe... *sigh* the good old days
