If you want more, name 1 MMO with an open world NM system that gives the user respawn timers, you won't find it, because such irresponsibility, would cause a massive zerge nullifying everyone's credit for the mark, and that's assuming the local server of said area could take the influx of players w/o crashing.

I may be rude, but i just can't take such destructive feedback from people who can't even think about the consequences, it just take some mins before posting.

Oh and if i'm being rude it's because i can see behind your idea, another person who wants to get credit for each mark w/o having to work for it, most ppl post ideas to get more seals with less work instead of posting ideas to fix a broken system.

I don't think when hunts were implemented, the devs envisioned it to be a system where people kept track of "open" spawn windows and mobs of parties teleported from zone to zone to zerg down the marks, so I'm pretty sure they aren't going to implement anything in-game that makes this current behavior even easier.

If they want hunts to be what they intended, as bonus targets that people happen to discover while doing other in-game activities rather than what it has become now, they should make all A-rank marks have a random 1-48 hour spawn window after previous ToD. This would basically eliminate the "tracking" of open spawn windows which people are using now to turn hunts into a teleport-zerg fest.

Once the Hunt is killed, the window timer then automatically resets.

The idea for this is so that you wouldn't have to manually keep track or look up Hunt information.

It would be nice if everything Hunt related stayed in-game, keeping the info more reliable and less manual.
What you are asking for is a stopwatch that resets itself. I just use a stopwatch in real life and restart it when a hunt dies. 1 hour for B,s 4 hours for A's. Not that hard.

Oh we read it....and then proceeded to explain why no that's a bad idea...some in a nicer way than others. But no, said tool is NOT needed....as people weren't supposed to take hunts to this level of planning, and server organization in the first place. ALL that was supposed to happen is 'Oh, there's a mark lemme tell my friends' /l /FC 'mark at blah blah come quick!' Friends come and you kill everyone's happy....maybe even a couple other random adventurers join in the fun....If the mob is an S rank, or bigger than your circle can handle, time to get out the /sh S rank! ...but that's ALL SE envisioned the playerbase doing.

Sure they expected a couple lore hounds/numbers people to come up with spawn conditions and predictions, and I'm sure they even expected the community to use this info if/when shared. But that is different than SE doing the thinking/planning for us.
By OP's logic, the mob should appear as a big blinking mark on my map too....so I can get to it w/o looking. (because that would be the NEXT thing people'd ask for if this were granted).

We have lots of player made data collections all filled w/ information that the game doesn't really hand us, but once you know it/look it up, you're grand. Some but not all of these include:
    1. Gardening crosses
    2. BiS gear setup/stat caps for certain content/levels
    3. Rare Gathering Node spawn times/locations
    4. Sightseeing guides/logs
    ...etc.

So yeah, he got silly responses/told flat 'No'. But that's because it breaks the nature of hunts (which you know should require some 'hunting'), and/or makes it so even more people can easily/lazily farm content that is already overdone.

    GW2?
That's basically what the world events there are and they're on a defined, hourly schedule..

That said, I'd prefer they completely randomize the respawn windows for hunts. Anything that encourages further use of Excel in an online game is a bad thing, and giving them an in-game schedule tracker kind of defeats the notion of a 'hunt' even further.

Having something written on paper or website that says Girtab window will pop open in 5 minutes doesn't mean he's going to pop in 5 minutes, it means it's possible it may pop between 5 minutes from now and some unknown time.

All of the PC players on Brynhildr are using thehunt.tk while ps3/ps4 players are shit out of luck, unless they have a lot of good Linkshells.

    Working as intended apparently.

I think you guys need to get over the idea of what Hunts are 'supposed to be' and start waking up to see what they truly are. Server wide FATEs that everyone wants to be a part of.

Pretty sure PS3/4 players have access to the same information.

Because it's too hard to party with someone who is on the PC with access?
Because it's too hard to use a laptop/smartphone to gain access to said information?
Because it's too hard to join a dedicated hunt LS/group?

Again, PS3/PS4 users have to look up other in-game information too (or keep track of it themselves). And when it comes to B/A ranks, all they need is to write down the ToD in a tablet beside their chair, and come back 1 or 4 hours later respectively. So playing the 'poor PS3/4 player' card doesn't fly either.

I'm on PS3 and don't hunt actively, but access to the same information is there indeed. I use ffxivhunt.com and it has a mobile version and works really well on my phone. People need to stop it with the console excuses already.
