Tia is one of the lore based Sun Seeker Miqo'te naming conventions:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ng-Conventions
Males do not take family names, as they are each considered the ‘origins’ of new families. In place of a family name, they are given a title that denotes their tribe, and their position within it. For a male Seeker of the Sun, there are only two positions available—breeding males (nunh – pronounced ‘noon’) and all others (tia – pronounced ‘tea-ah’). All males are born as tia.
Geez, after checking my name in the Lodestone, I'm starting to want a more obscure last name for my character.
Highwind, i am also starting to see quite a few dragonbornes..
Any variation of FF7s names have been grossly overcommon since the dawn of MMOs past FF7. Some people are so desperate they will use obvious mispelling of the names like "cloud srife clod strife cloud striffffe" i mean come on..i even saw a cloud Sephiroth.
But yea, for me highwind seems to be what i am seeing the most other then those.
Sakura.... lots of flippin Sakuras
saw a lot of 'Alice'
Lots of Kirito, Asunas, Strifes, Lannisters etc.
Wow, this makes me feel really original even if it is based off a joke from a web comic.
I've seen a lot of Phoenix's on my server!
as well as highwind, and way too many anime character names.
I see alot of Pendragons...
