extremely long time between patches

For someone who have been playing since 1.0, is legacy and been playing since alpha i am seriously disappointed at how after a year there is no expansion, no real story and how "patches" that take 1 day at the most to fullfill them takes 3 months to arrive and even now we may be looking at a june-september release of the expansion and that is hurting tha game. Even ffxi is releasing updates monthly or least each 2 months. Not 3 -.-

Wow---I feel the opposite. I am nowhere near finished with stuff from the previous few patches (Fronlines, new i75 DoH tools, etc) and here's another patch coming in a few days...

another stupid guy who wants a "expansion" .... if you want to pay 50$ for a expansion please contact with SE in your country and donate 50$...

Honestly, due to its popularity since 2.0 launch, SE presently has a sizable budget allowing hefty patches and accelerated timetables therein, compared to most other popular MMOs. 3 months is on the low end of time between major patches, considering this aforementioned contrast. OP, you must be joking, or largely naive of the reality before you, if you are going to label this as 'too long'.

OP, since you've been playing for so long, you of all people should be aware of the fact that Yoshi flat out told us patches would come every 3 months.

And that's just the major patches. Including those, we do get patches about once a month.

Look at WoW. patches every few months after Mists of Pandaria came out, then after 5.4, the end patch for that expansion, nothing for a 14 months, excluding the pre expansion patch...... 5.4 in wow was on September 10th 2013, Warlords of Draenor comes out on November 13th 2014. Now if you want patches every few weeks with some exceptions just go to Guild Wars 2 where the content is completed in 2-3 hours then you have nothing to do.

For years WoWs expansions were every 2 years. I find FF14 patches to be just right.
