I feel mounts could use some kind of turbo

Sometimes, it seems mounts move just too slowly, especially when you're on the Magitek. Maybe it's because you're at 8,30 in Coerthas and you're trying to get to Naul at 29, 12 (these are made up numbers. I don't remember the grid in my head). It would be nice to have a Sprint ability for mounts as well, or at least have a special green you grow to feed your chocobo so he can dash.

All of the mounts move at the same speed; it's just that some of them(Magiteck, Behemoth), feel slower because they take fewer large steps as opposed to smaller fast steps.

Also being higher from the ground has that effect.

I agree a "sprint" for all mounts wouldn't break anything.

I like that everyone has the same speed mount. We don't particularly need fast mounts considering we have aethernets in most areas.

I actually wish those had a larger penalty on them other than a paltry sum of gil.

Coerthas is a friggin bear, but that place just needs more aetherytes.

Thats why I use all the small mounts as opposed to the larger more bulbous mounts like the obese chocobo and the mech armor.

I always felt that mounts were a bit sluggish the moment I got my Chocobo. They could use a 5-10% increase in movement speed.
