I was so excited when I got this game because I knew it had the best graphics for a current gen MMO, and the storyline was going to be compelling because the Lore of Eorzea is amazing in itself and I got in the game and I got to choose a voice for my character. At that moment I was like yes finally I can't wait my character is going to speak his sentences that I choose during dialogue options and in cutscenes (and not be like in FFXI where you guy doesn't even reply just stands there looking dumb). Well I had a rude awakening and when even from the beginning I lost all feeling of immersion for the storyline because I have come to expect with the current gen name of Final Fantasy that means we get voice overs for our characters during cutscenes and important quests. Instead we get a bunch of pretty mimes standing around acting like they are talking and a massive wall of text and I find myself spamming my button to get through all story parts or just skipping cutscenes. Except for the last mission cutscene that had awesome sound effects voices and the works.

Also when the game was coming out with the commercial and what not showing adventurers at the leve counter accepting the quest all gorgeous and with voice overs it just really made you feel like that was what you were going to get in the package and I feel really disappointed by it not being so. SE even had a direction where people were talking with the Old English accents and that was reminiscent with FFT: War of the Lions cutscenes. Or personally if this does get considered and added I would like to hear accents from all over for different characters from different nations. That would really bring a wave of immersion to the story line and cutscenes and other important characters that give quests.

So localization team I really hope you look at this and submit this in to Yoshi and the others who have the ability to make this change come into action. For I believe this would shed a new light on this game and bring fans who are borderline about thinking of trying a Final Fantasy MMO for the first time because they are guaranteed that visceral and compelling storyline with current gen expectations of a Final Fantasy title. Thanks for taking the time to read this post and I hope to hear some type of word back from you guys. ^-^b
