So we get a new Slime helm for the Dragonquest event, but nothing new for the Lightning or FF11 events?

There's nothing new from the Burgeoning Dread quests either, from what the anniversary site shows T_T

I'm glad we can still get the wind up Shantotto, I had a break and didn't realise the event was going. So I am happy they didn't change it ^_^.

They didn't have to get rid of the old stuff, but adding some new stuff would have been nice. Don't really have a reason to participate in the returning events.

They better have a way for people that did it before to get the helm, since it wasn't there the first time.

hmm, it would make sense for them to introduce daggers for the lightning event, unless they plan on having it a 4th time in the future

Reading the new event page for the DQX event, it's actually not quested but instead offered for sale by an npc, found here:

During this event, players can purchase a King Slime Crown by speaking with the toughie in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (X:8 Y:12).

The FFXI and FFXIII event pages though have no new items listed for them, so I guess having a new item for the DQ event is an exception rather than the rule.
