Let's say for example Yugiri IS a Viangaa (it'd make sense with the cultural style of the summer event and of what little we know about Doma), just judging by her facial structure alone, she doesn't have the protruding snout Bangaa possess. I'm honestly thinking they're just using the name from the joke rather then the concept design

Gonna have to agree with Tchoc here. The fact that Viangaa wasn't capitalized and it said " for viangaa's years" means they are using it as some kind of measurement of time.
