I'll explain why its that way on Hyperion because of larger free companies. They are buying out smaller plots and making a monopoly off of them. I'm not gonna name the biggest offender of this but its pathetic. I've reported members of these free companies because they are taking real cash for the houses and gil. This is blatent RMT and ruins the community of Hyperion. My free company happens to live near the biggest offender and I can't stand them. Don't believe me just check party finder every day there's always someone selling rank 8 fc and housing

Oh, I know! The other day, there was a PF message from someone saying he had several small houses and wanted to "rent" them out to FCs.

Honestly, to me, this is borderline griefing. This clearly isn't how the system was meant to be used, and players who do this are literally preventing other players from participating in housing content.

I don't get why the devs are so silent on this.

I play on hyperion, checking party finder almost every day when I'm bored, and I have literally never seen this.

I don't doubt it happens, but maybe something was done, cos I haven't seen it before and certainly not recently.
