Bots and Curtain Hack?

If you are a gatherer/crafter in Balmung, you probably know who I'm talking about. The two bot archers that constantly farm in Coerthas with their chocobos up.

Lots of people including me have reported these two for their obvious botting but they still haven't been reprimanded yet. I tried to search these two by their names and nothing came up, tried to isolate bards/archers but they still weren't showing in the player search list. This is temporary though, at one point I can search them. At another time I can't. Dunno if this means that they are actively switching it on when things get shady on their side.

Is this curtain program a new thing that let's them stay invisible in the grid, which may be why they haven't been banned/locked yet? Seriously though, they've been active since, approx a 8-10 months ago >.<

Exactly, the client allows quite a lot ...that it shouldn't.

actually it did it tunneled the client data to send packets to the server and database just the same as you could tell the server you had xyz item and it would convert say an ether into an allagan platinum piece. their database security and packet encryption were well non existent to say the least.
