accessing Lavender Beds

Despite being a member of a fc, there is a place on lavender beds, and the npc isn't letting me go there - is there something I need to do, or shall I report a bug? I was thinking the large aetheryte in Gridania would take me there (is that possible?)

You can use the aetheryte once you have done the level 10 quest found at Bentbranch Meadows.

You should be able to walk there though, if the npc outside the gate it stopping you, I'm not sure what the issue is.

Managed to get there from the port, south of Bentbranch.
