Official Open World PvP Petition

Go check Yoship's interview on gamescom, he made his stance on World PvP. Yet, no matter how you sugar coating the World PvP, it is just a pointless tanking fest with no skills involve.

Don't think this is the first thread about World PvP and the number of players dislike the idea is much greater. The chance of you seeing World PvP is next to none.

That is the video I linked. His stance is that while personally he likes the idea, he thinks the players have some reservations. If there is enough support, he will implement the option. As I said, I'm completely ambivalent (sure, I enjoyed ganking people in WoW every once in a while but it's not something I'm dying to see in FFXIV) and of course this isn't the first thread on open-world PvP. I offered this thread up with a link to the video and the opportunity to put in one place all the "thumbs up" for yesterday's proposed solution: create a single server where open-world PvP is allowed. While this isn't my number one priority, I support the option for those who are interested.

For those of you who don't like Yoshi-P's proposal, just ignore the like button, move on and let this thread die.
