Want to be part of game even when away

I cant help but read this like "I need to be able to play this on the go, all the time, how can I never stop playing? They are trying to make me go to FFXIV anonymous, but I will never go, neveerr!!"

Remote play via Internet is completely unreliable. Even with 12+ Mbps connections on both ends.

I get horrible connection issues when I'm just remote playing in the next room. I love the fact I can do it with my Vita but it is not very reliable. I only use it for fishing and wish it had a vibrate function.

What happened with the APP, SE once said we can gather,craft and doing some nice stuff with a handy APP...

An app would be nice, one that would also allow you to log into ls/fc chat. That way during busy weeks at least you can maintain a presense amongst your in-game friends and keep up with what's going on. While in the game there would be more casual chatter from mobile users, something I think ls/fcs need more of.
