Want to be part of game even when away

Is there a way/chance that we will get maybe an app to do somethings in-game when we are at work or school?

Maybe be able to play mini-games when the Golden Saucer comes out? Gather, Fish or craft on the go?

I love FFXIV, but I am a professional and a student so my playtime is limited. I do however have times during my day for quick little sessions of gaming, perfect for some mobile games.

I would love to see a FFXIV app that would let me play in Eorzea in some way, I am not asking for a full PC experience of an MMO on my phone. To be able to craft, fish, check Market Board listings, ect. would be awesome!

What do others think of this? good or bad?

Remote play via Internet is completely unreliable. Even with 12+ Mbps connections on both ends.

install on a laptop? I just bring my laptop to work and set my nostromo on the floor. I can fish or craft based on the sound effects without even looking at the screen while I do my actual work.

I second the PS4 suggestion. I was at my ex's place and she was playing her game and I pulled out my Vita and farmed shards, crafted and refilled my retainers. Being able to jump in and literally do anything in the game via wifi is so fucking cool.

Can you do something that needs a constant wifi on any version of the Vita? I have a crystal white Vita from the AC3 bundle, so I find myself curious (planning on begging my parents for a PS4 come Christmas, since with my current rent there's no way I can afford it...)

I have a friend who uses Splashtop to play remotely. Just in case you don't have a PS4/vita, as not everyone has that setup.
