Healers arn't OP vs people who have a vague knowledge of what they are doing, but this would probably tip that balance drastically if healers can free cast more than they already do
Get surecast, swiftcast and upgrade equanimity, dont use them all at the same time and keep regen on everyone, just get used to playing WHM in frontlines and eventually you will rarely care about being interupted vs the majority of players

I don't personally have an issue with getting interrupted, and when I do it's because I have 4-5 people focusing me with EQ on CD. I don't want people to assume that I'm 'crying' about interrupts; I'm not. I'm just wanting to see if there's people here that'd think it would be more rewarding to actively interrupt crucial skills, instead of just spamming anything and everything to keep that WHM locked down, or that BLM from casting Sleep. Judging from the responses ( or lack thereof ), I'm guessing it's not, which kind of sucks.Healers arn't OP vs people who have a vague knowledge of what they are doing, but this would probably tip that balance drastically if healers can free cast more than they already do

sounds like a bad idea only because the cd's on spells that are designed for interrupting such as silence are dreadfully long. if SE redesigned the whole thing where only silence could interrupt casts, they would have to put it on a shorter cd and to be perfectly honest knowing what i know about the FFXIV community, it would just be too hard for the most the players here to manage. i have played other mmos where this was the case where only interrupt spells could interrupt casts, but at the same time, they were mmos with more advanced players than in FFXIV pvp community. i see here how people complain about simple rudimentary crap. having only one spell to interrupt would rain bloody tears we'd never hear the end of.
