"Share Play" (PS4 exclusive feature)

Sony announced that they will bring a feature to the PS4 that will let you remotely play another player's game through the internet for a 1 hour duration at a time (Between PS4s only of course.) More details here.

I would like to hear what players in XIV: ARR think of something like this. Do you think it will lead to "Let me take over to show you how to dodge" drama? Do you think it would make XIV: ARR more interesting by allowing players to help others? Do you think it's just a gimmick? Please post your thoughts.

It's a cool little gimmick that'll probably be hampered due to a fair amount of people not having the upload speeds required to make such a setup responsive enough to be worth the trouble.

So the helping you dodge comment will likely not be applicable since you're stacking input latency on top of network latency.

It only last 1 hour.

Though it doesn't say you can't fire it up again for another hour, good for fighting games, though not good if you are doing boss battles or heated FPS fights.

Best thing to do is own your own game, though this option is good for people to test out games they are interested or see if they are un interested.
