Not trying to say I agree with the OP, but playing devil's advocate, I'd say that having content there to do =/= having content that is actually fun or worth doing. I still love ffxiv and find plenty to do when I log on, but I will never do those boring exploration quests, as the requirements for them are silly at best, and a time-sink at worst.

As they say, can't please everyone. There's always going to people who feel there isn't enough things for themselves to do. And that's their fault usually, not the devs. They can't make enough stuff of various things for EVERYONE to be happy with it. It's just not possible.

And I've stop reading. If it ecks you so much roll another character like you would in every other MMO out there. You can do 6 leve in a 24 hour periods, FATE, Hunt Log, Dungeons, Guildhest, Daily Roulette, Beast Tribe Quest @ 42, and Challenge Log. More than enough to level from 1-50.

So you want to do the same quests over and over, but not the same leves over and over? Also, as mentioned above, you get 6 leve allowances per day, not 3. You get 3 every 12 hours.

Also, your view on leveling is horribly, horribly skewed, not to mention you lumping all DPS, both melee and ranged, into one clump. Melee DPS have significantly faster queues than ranged DPS, and even on a ranged DPS if you're waiting 45 minutes for a dungeon you're doing it wrong.

Levequests aren't the only way to get venture coins - in fact, they're probably one of the slowest. Hunts, treasure maps, GC seals, beastman dailies - all of them net you ventures.

Besides, there is already enough incentive to play more than one class - for example, getting Swiftcast for ALL casting classes/jobs, or getting Provoke as a Warrior, both of which are by this point effectively mandatory in endgame.

In short, it is an overreaction.

You get 6 leves a day FYI, 3 every 12 hours. Also, your claim is very anecdotal. It's not sustainable for you in regards to leveling multiple DoW/M classes but not everyone has this wish. I've been playing since beta and since launch I've only leveled two jobs, 4 crafter classes and 1 gathering class. A game doesn't become unsustainable because a gamer isn't happy with the avenues provided to level all classes.

Pre-50 doesn't last very long. Why allocate effort into what is more or less the tutorial?

Also, there has been new stuff for pre-50 in the past year.
Kobold/Sahagin beast tribe quests? Dance emote quests? Challenge log?

Events are new player friendly too. (e.g. Moonfire Faire is level 15)

Questing is great for story & lore... but you run here, interact with this, /emote that NPC, travel to another city, & all for what? A few thousand XP? There are much quicker & more efficient ways to level up an alt job.

Beast Tribe Quests - with a variety of different quest types (renewable every day). Which there are now three of.

The Sightseeing log.

The weekly renewable challenge log.

A mariad of small quests pre 50 such as maps etc, and many of the grand company quests.

Do you want to know why we have so many post-50 quests? When you look back from now even only one year, you've spent a good solid 3/4 of that (and that's being VERY generous) at 50. Why would they release at nausia, large amounts of low level quests for people below 50? The content is "already there" for individuals below 50.

I'm not going into details on post 50 quest chain continuations/new bosses/ etc. etc.

I'm not seeing a problem here. . . Please re-evalute "exactly" what you want.

OF All the rampant fanboi posts and flame trolls, this is the ONLY reply that actually tried to address the topic at hand.. the problem is.. it falls pathetically short of what is being presented.
Ive seen your precious "Challenge Log" .. over half of them give NO form of xp rewards, and the half that DO give rewards... give it for "run 5 dungeons" .. if I could easily just "run 5 dungeons!" .. I wouldnt be on these forums to begin with, and for a level 15 THM, those quests give like 5k xp... GC leve gives 11k in 5 minutes. (Again, as stated.. WORTHWHILE content is Leve's, and they are stupidly limited.)

Beast Tribes... 3 per DAY, see Levequests for my issue there.
Hunting Log - Srsly.. you people are kidding me right? OMG I DID MY HUNTING LOG AND GAINED 3/4th a level! .. just 9.25 levels to go before the next ones unlock! /eyeroll
Sightseeing log - Get the frak out of here with that crap, NONE Of them give xp, and such, NONE of them help level alt classes to 50.
GC quests - uhh I did all of these as I leveled my GLD to 50, have max rank. Nothing left to do for them besides those (SURPRISE) level 50 hunt logs.

So tell me again about all this "CONTENT" that's been added? Because Im seeing about what... an hour a day in Beast quests... then its back to limited levequests

I also love how all these people keep spouting about fates.. when they have max 50s and havent even LOOKED at a FATE zone in months. THEY ARE EMPTY. NOBODY does them anymore. The only Fates I see being done are the Epic Fates... that's it.

And yeah, I get it, your 50 max has this MASSIVE stockpile of leves.. I dont, neither do alot of other people. I currently have 4 remaining.
