I don't think Yoshi really likes the idea of having multiple classes per character to be totally honest. There really isn't much that supports the idea.
There are some nifty cross class skills, but seeing as you basically need to wear your job upgrade at all times, that (along with classes in general) seems just shy of totally pointless.

In any case, I'm always an advocate of more mid range content.

If the next FF MMO comes and he's the lead and he removes multi class per character system, I probably won't be on board at all. I like FF, but it was never my no.1 series and this system was what got me interested in XI and XIV in the first place.

    - Beastman Dailies (much of them are pretty cool to do and not the LEAST like levequests)
    - Challenge log (I just leveled SMN to 50 (got it yesterday, yay \o/) and Challenge log is AWESOME EXP)
    - FATE grind (FATEs are much less crowded now, and pretty fun to hunt, specially the chain-story ones who, aside from being cool, give much more exp)
    - Treasure Maps (also very much fun to do)
    - Clearing out zone quests you left behind while leveling your main

    So, you were saying...?

Not saying they shouldn't add new quest chains, but adding them for a leveling process that can take a max of 1 week for a casual player, is a waste of resources, if SE is doing something right with the game it is focusing on endgame content.

As someone that tends to grind classes via FATE/levequest, I don't really sympathize. There's more than enough leves to go around if you do other stuff too. I'm sitting on 91 allowances right now and scratching my head as to how I'm going to use some up so they don't max out. Asking for the devs to put in more quest chains is basically asking to be spoon-fed more exp. Experienced players no longer need pre-written quest chains in order to level up, as they ostensibly know other ways and have met people along the way that they could party with.

As far as your dps queues, make friends with a low level tank or go with one of your friends while they level tank.

I remember XI and XIV 1.0 experience grind parties. What we have now is far more content then sitting in one area farming exp all day with a group of 7 others.

Between dungeons, fates, levequests, challenge log, and daily roulletes if you can't level up quickly and easily you either don't want to or are just ignoring things. Its so easy to level its not even funny.

It isn't the fact of lacking content, the game has content, it's that SE gives everyone a break in grabbing everything with 1 job, when you bring up something that screws with what people are spoiled rotten about they throw fits and say they don't want change.

They wanna speed through the game, then complain and say what's next SE why SE this SE that.

    You are a prime example.

Problem is people get all their glamour from 1 level 50 job.

    50 healer.
    50 tank

Reason those two jobs are also lacking because they max out gear items and switch to another job to get whatever those two jobs need also were jobs people chose at the start, when SE cuts them off they head back to forums and whine about it till they get spoiled again, SE needs to just put their foot down and say look deal with it.

Then some recently said they don't wanna be forced to play the job or see bad tanks and healers play because of the nightmares, well if they didn't get their gear early and practiced their jobs through duty's and getting proper practice that wouldn't happen speeding through this game, reminds me of abyss level 35 hitting 99 in ffxi.

but people will cry about change cause they are in a comfort zone and make tons of gil, glamour gear don't need exhcange 900 points a pop in grand company selling peacock ores 9000 gil you can see why they dont want things to change. but in the end it will hurt this game.

SE needs to stop letting one job get everything for other jobs it would slow up people no matter how much people complain about it.

OP is 100% wrong about the FATEs. People are doing them all the time for Atma. They're not as busy as they were in 2.0 (anyone complaining about the number of people doing Hunts and missing out would have been horrified at South Shroud 2.0) and they're not in the same zones (if you're looking on Google for teh best FATE zones, it pays to use advanced search to discard any posts not updated in a month or two). If they're all empty, OPs biggest problem is likely that he is not playing at the same time as everyone else (server prime time) and this would his dungeon queues as well (servers being grouped by region etc). Or he could just be playing on a low pop server.

I'll agree that there are not a lot of low level things to do once you've got a couple of 50's under your belt (I did main scenario on one and all the side quests on another), but with the multiclass-on-one-charcater system, this would mean adding several thousand new quests just to fill out the XP requirements. They could add more daily type quests I guess, but I really wouldn't want to see WoW levels of dailies* ever again.

*For reference, with the daily limit removed, I once did every daily I could do at max level and all the lower level ones as well. I couldn't get them all done before the reset.

Having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.
