Questions about a few spells

Hello guys, I've been wondering about some spells that I have as a WHM. How often should Regen, Divine Seal, and Aero 2 be used? Also, does anyone have tips for controller setups on PS3 for WHM? Because I play WHM when I'm by myself too. And I have a lot of skills that I still use and two hotbars. I'm not sure which skills to switch out to the second hotbar and which ones to keep on the first.

Try to only use regen when you know it will wear off before the next fight starts, most tanks won't cancel it themselves (I'm bad at this personally but I try to avoid tanking anyway) so you don't want insta-hate on a group because your regen is still running. There are various situations to use divine seal, on speed runs it's almost needed at the start if you're not overgeared and even then it makes things so much easier on you, divine seal + regen at the start of pulls can be a life saver. Other uses are on some boss fights where you can pop seal + medica 2 and then switch to dps mode, also when a big bit is coming it can mean using cure 1 over cure 2 for mp management. Aero 2 I just use at the start of boss fights as the duration is short I can't be bothered to keep reapplying it... Think that's laziness on my part though.
Can't help with hotbars as mine are a mess but I've learnt where everything is so muscle memory helps more than anything. I tried sorting them once but the results weren't good so switched it all back to extreme messiness

i have cure set to r2+x for both hotbars. i use regen quite frequently, where a cure isnt appropriate, or just where i need a little extra heals . i have it set to l2+triangle. but, one setup wont fit every player. if i could, i would take some pictures of my hotbars and post them, but im at work. i only use 1.5 of my hotbars, but i have every skill, and some cross class. i dont use aero 2, because it has a cast time, and it doesnt seem to be very worth it, unless im on my own. if im on my own, i start with cleric+aero 2, followed by aero as soon as the GCD is down

i havent used divine seal very much, as my regular heals more than suffice. i can heal for almost 1.6k with a crit of over 3k on cure 2, but i have used it. both dots arent worth reapplying on a normal basis while in party.

It's on a 1min recast. There's no reason not to use it often. It's not a "oh crap" button.

i know, but in the middle of a fight, it doesnt pop into my head a lot. when i do think of it, i use it, but it has nothiung to do with recast or effectiveness, just if i can remember it in battle.

LOL, ok. I was wondering. I'm whm i106 w/ Novus, and my Cure 1 (with no buffs or crits) only heals for 1,300-1,400.

my cure 1, on average, goes for about 1,100. its been a few days since i healed, been lveling PLD, so i cant remember the crit.
