Any chance of caster gear getting a bit of piety?

Healers got a bit of accuracy on their gear to make things easier in coil.
Any chance of casters then getting a little free piety? Especially for Highlander BLMs, having an extra 3-4 piety on a couple pieces, totaling maybe 12-16 PIE to add some rotational flexibility.

I really would like this too, but they would have to be very careful with balance. You could always meld some i90 accessories or respec your class points until we get some more stat options.

How curious.. I don't think I've ever seen a BLM request this. I doubt it to be honest . The idea is that you can manage you pie to always be well off. What you can do is use something crafted to get around that if you must.

You could always allocate a few of your free points from leveling up to PIE, as well.

Although a simpler solution might be to put 8-12 PIE on BLM weapons.

I'd say SMN would benefit from PIE gear more, honestly.
In longer fights (especially ones with high movement) SMN tends to run dry on MP.

The accuracy on healer gear was more or less pointless.　Caster accuracy is 471/491 for Second, while 432 for first Coil..and even with max gear *and* food this is what we have

Ever considered food? Pineapple juice gives quite a lot of piety, as well as spellspeed.

No casters do not need any piety. Comparing it to healers getting accuracy also isn't merited.

You can miss hunt mobs less, with more accuracy.

I have missed Phecda (North Shroud B rank) a few times with Aero and Stone II with 346 accuracy.

IMO pie would be a wasted stat for blm. I would hate to sacrifice a valuable stat just to be able to get pie, which is totally unneccessary. BLM never runs out of MP. And if you accidentally do, just transpose (or convert if it's up). And even if for some crazy reason you can't transpose, it only takes a couple seconds to have enough MP to blizzard.
