    Rank 10+ chocobos and a "two hour" ability

    I don't know if this has been mentioned but given that players are able to raise their chocobo under three different classes/jobs, and utilize those jobs in battle it would stand to reason that those same chocobos would be able to utilize an "ability" unique to that class. The downside is that these same abilities will have a drastically long "2hr" cool down between uses.

    Healer Class - something akin to Benediction, that heals everyone in the party and removes most undesirable status effects

    Tank Class - something akin to Invincible, but enhances both physical and magic defense but also increases enmity towards targets that have been placed on the "enmity list"

    Damage Class - something akin to Blood weapon, that increases strength, speed and critical hit rate over a set period of time.

    I also think this is something that should only be made available with rank 10+ chocobos.

    or could have it on the pet hotbar (or extra buttons that you can snag out of the companion hud)

    would be in support of this but would rather the damage ability was for all party members rather then just the chocobo

    I'm curious how they would make this work when the chocobo is taken away after 30mins of fight time. I have a rank 8 pure healer chocobo right now and I have seen my chocobo's time go up and dismiss while under the effect of Choco Surge. I would call him back out immediately and the effect would be gone. Maybe they could use something like what they did for tanks after they die, not having to re-apply Shield Oath/Defiance, but apply it to the 2hr waiting period? Or maybe it's just more reasonable that they could only use this special ability once per Gysahl Greens?

    Either way I think it's a cool idea.

    not to mention the fact that they only stay out for 30 minutes. chocobos were meant to be companions not pets.

    Some LS friends and I were joking about Chocobos being more intelligent than anyone ever gave them credit Mega Fat Chocobo being the Chocobo Primal. Defeat it and you have a chance of winning a Fat Draught Chocobo.
