My character name i'snt that bad. Molyneux Highwind. Although Highwind is the most generic FF name ever xD I saw, just today, 5 different Highwinds.

But I had a Hyur to start out with and she looked very... Butchy xD So the name no longer fits my kitty. lol So I want to change my name, and I reeeally don't want to do a server transfer- not because of the fee, but because I'd have to drop the best FC I've been in so far (obviously opinion), and I'd lose my friends and also have to restart my blacklist lol

Hey guys sign up on my thread at this forum section too, maybe they do something with that, last time SE did changed character's names (and only one time they did), they did with a thread on forums in that fashion, maybe they can do it again if we do it that way again.

There have been many a players that have wronged others coughs Trolls.

Now giving them the ability to change there name would give them the ability to do it all over again. Something that I or anyone else needs. I say no to Name Changes for its entirety.

However a compromise for those that want it I would suggest First or Last name Change only so I can have some sanity with who i'm dealing with.

I think its an awesome idea. I would love to give my character a simple change in name to help pronunciation; from "Iraa" to "I'Rah" (e-rah).

and for those who think this is a bad idea because the baddies can change face and keep trolling, what they can do is have a "formerly known as:" in the character info so you guys can sleep better at night.

Since you guys still complain about that black list thing, there is your proof that black-listed individuals name changing will NOT affect your gameplay. There you go guys, now y'all can can sleep better at night. I still think you ppl are so annoying, grow up...once you add someone to your Blacklist you should forget about them. Just because a few ppl made you feel sad about yourself, doesnt mean every living thing of Eorzea should pay the price and you have to move on, cuz y'all annoying and youre making ME want to add you to my blacklist.

I can’t believe how shocked I was this morning to find out their is no name change function in this game is.
I stupidly named my character after my girlfriend of 3 years and we recently broke up . So i would have loved to just change her name and appearance so i am not reminded of her every time i log in to play the game. Please developers!!!!! Help me change my characters name!!!!!!

i think a Name Change wouldn't be so bad , seriously if their Account is blacklisted by said player once and is perma. added even with a name change there should be no issue just like how players once wanted to change appearances at the time. i really think this is just 1 of those waiting issues or it just needs lot more attention for the devs to see this , just make it a fantasia bottle 2.0 which includes name changes thats all when re-working the programming in coding the fantasia bottle since it goes into the account management when it comes to appearances. Thats all ^^
