Hence: "You have Wolves Den."
That's purely about PvP. You don't even have to 'roleplay', the fact it's lore based Grand Company vs Grand Company gameplay means it's a bit silly to complain about that when the alternative has been there for ages![]()
You don't get it. Frontlines shouldn't be special "non-PvP" roleplay zone for Grand Companies. It is still PvP, and a larger scale PvP than Wolves Den. Some people prefer that, I honestly find large scale PvP more fun myself, having played RO for god knows how many years. Let me put it this way, if you take the grand companies out of it and make it "Team A, Team B, Team C", does it change anything? No, but it sure makes queue times a lot faster by throwing in 72 people in random groups together. It also makes fights not completely one-sided. I also would like to do frontlines because it gives massive experience and wolf marks. Win trading in PvP is not fun, and doing it the normal way is beyond slow.
My point is, this system is clearly not working. I'm not sure who they're trying to appeal to at the moment.

The system is working fine. JP community is evenly distribued among three GCs for the frontline while EN community is not. This is why it does not seem to appeal to you, but it doesnt mean system is not working fine. I was unable to find any topic in regard to complain of que time on both JP PvP fourm and JP 2ch. This is an issue that only apply to EN community because of our own mindset. The mindset of jumping to the winning wagon is something need to be resolve within our community. You are making a false claim and assumption based on your own personal experience as a Malestorm.
The number of players that are enjoying GC vs GC vs GC is much greater than you think. JP community seems to enjoying this competition system and their Frontline participant number is greater than us according to Yoship. You need a lot more solid reference and stactic number to show your point.

My own personal experience and several others. This isn't JUST me. Again, I have been with Maelstrom since 1.0, why is it fair for me to HAVE to switch if I ever want to even ENTER frontlines? Also, we already know they favor JP players, you don't need to remind us. Don't blame people like me for "jumping ship and winning", I've only even been able to play one stupid game. If I could fix this issue, I would.
Do you even read what I am saying? You sound like a kid crying: "Daddy dont love me." The number of Malestorm on English data centre is much greater, especially on Primal Data Centre, Malestorm number is overwhelming and there is simply not enouch Twin Adders to lower your que time. You can help to resolve the issue by join the Twin Adder, now, would you do that?My own personal experience and several others. This isn't JUST me. Favorism? Are you out of your mind?
If you fail to see the sacasm, I am being sacastic because I know he wont. Why would he do that when Malestorm has 42% winning ratio when Twin Adders only ahs 27% on the Primal.

I assure you, the wait times are real and the systems matching is not functioning as expected. As i stated earlier, I'm Twin Adders queuing as a MRD/WAR during peak times and I've waited up to 3 hours for a queue. Then I get my son to Queue, sometimes after 30 or more minutes after I've been waiting, on his tank (also Adders) and he gets in before me. Something is not working somewhere. The system is working fine. JP community is evenly distribued among three GCs for the frontline while EN community is not. May I ask how your queue times are, what company you are, and what role you queue as?
I also assure you, job has no impact on que system. I am Twin Adder, Primal Date Centre, que as PLD, MNK, or BRD. Que time is average around instant to 10 mins. I can provide video as proof if you want it.

i realize roles dont matter since we can switch in the match itself. Would you like video proof of my wait times? Why are you completely unwilling to listen to those who are legitimately having an issue? the issue is NOT solely based on GC affiliation, time of day, or any other issue that the player has control over. I was part of the Limsa Lominsa GC and switched about 2 weeks ago (my switch had nothing to do with PvP wait times, at the time i switched I was unaware of the discrepency in numbers) and I noticed 0 difference in wait times. It sucked too cause When I switched I lost my 22 levels in PvP experience and had to start from scratch. I would really like it if wait times were 10 min.
Yesterday, I set myself up for a queue and forgot about it. Went grocery shopping for over an hour, came home. put them away, cooked dinner, then sat down to eat. That was when i noticed I was still waiting in a queue. That happened between 4pm and 7pm PST (West coast Canada). This has become the norm.
I do think that a viable solution would be to reunite all servers and databases for PvP queue's. even if its just for frontlines. At least then there would be a larger pool to draw from.
