I liked the old crystal system in FFXI. Click set your homepoint wherever you wanted, and warp back there as you required. It seems silly that running a few regional leves means you can no longer warp back to Ul'dah or whatever. If you die and have to walk or teleport back, that's your own fault for not setting your homepoint or waiting for raise. Its a system that worked, and I'd welcome its return to FFXIV.

Well, technically, you can still warp back to Ul'dah if your bind point is elsewhere. You just have to use anima to do it.

I'm all for this. Just prompt the player a yes or no question upon touching the aetherite, and boom. Perfect.

Yes I do have a My Little Pony sig because I'm not a complete loser who lives in his own little world, proclaiming something is stupid because I say so.

I think I'd rather just have a bind option in the menu that already comes up. I don't want to have to click through yet another pop up window every time I touch the Aetheryte.
