Weird Music in Eorzea! o.O

So ive been noticing lately that ffxiv's game music has been quite weird at random times and in random places. like the other day me and some people were at to-to-Rak dungeon raid. when we left i heard the old Black Shroud music for a few minutes then the new one came on again like it normally should. And today i was getting Grid's company quests done and when i ported to broken water to finish a quest the music was very different! ive heard this tune before but i cant remember from where.

when i played ffxi i liked changing my music around, so i used different music from like Chrono Cross, Trigger, and numerous FF games. This song is from somewhere but i cant remember where! i was able to frap it maybe somebody can remember where it's from. i wonder if SE is making a contest for players NAME THAT TUNE! lol

1.18 patch release some of the music that been in the game sense beta 1 or before that lol.

Some areas have new songs and so on they going to also remake the maps so i guess this is the reason why they change the songs what am guessing that each new song in some part of the area would look 100% diff.

That specific song was already used as Mistbeard Cove's theme.

And yes, it does sound like something straight out of Chrono Cross. That's awesome.

From what I noticed, Music changes closer to Encampments. Btw, Black Shroud music near gridania entrance/tranquil area is EPIC! (Still the old music @ nine ivies tho)

lol ya thats weird i noticed that the old music in Black Shroud is still around in some areas XD although i really do like the new song better its less annoying :P lol. and hey ur right it is from mistbeard cove haha damn glitches xD.
