[Idea] Fishing ideas for the future and betterment of our community.

Many threads have offered suggestions to help make fishing better. Tacklebox suggestions, a reason to use GP, and many more have been brought to the table with little to no response from devs. Why is this? Have we not been loud enough? Well try your best to let your voice be heard and/or offer new and fresh ideas for a class with so much potential.

The idea I want to bring up is something that has been mentioned before but with something extra.

Let us be able to mount fish in our homes or rooms through desynthesis. Any fish will have a pretty rare chance that they will have an item that let's you make it into a mounted trophy for that perticular fish. It's fishing related, it'll help the markets, and we won't just be fishing to get swimsuits. Sure you might have to have CUL for the item but more fishers already do.

How about you my fine fisher friends?

lol Joking aside.. I have no idea whats going on, I don't like a lot of what's going on, and I don't know why they are doing it as such... and that makes me a bit sad.



(Those who have read my opinon know, but to share "I don't hate all of Fisher's new stuff, in fact a lot of it was extra fluff that we highly desired, but it feels a lot of the core and purpose was removed and that makes the fluff less impressive of an addition).

Bait/lures kill my inventory. While you're leveling up, you can swing using just a handful. Now that I have the Supra rod and max gear, it is substantially worse as you really need the correct bait for each specific Old One / Big Fish.

Folks didn't riot hard enough for their tackleboxes the first time honestly. The longer 2.3 has been out the more fishermen have been seeing the harm that has been done.

When I go fishing, I technically don't need all my lures especially when I have certain fish of interests in mind. I just take what I need from storage and that usually does not take up more than 4-5 slots in my regular inventory. Although a tackle box is convenient cause I can take all or most of my tackle with me, however, I really don't use them all. The only time I may ever use them all is if I ever plan to go a on fishing marathon.

As for mounting fish, I think I'll be satisfied with the an aquarium, which I heard is on the do list, where I can shove these things in. I'd easily pay several double digit millions to get an aquarium to hold some of these monsters in my mansion.

Back when I thought our yards would be bigger I thought having a "koi" pond would have been absolutely amazing (no idea where you guys live but current housing yards are more like side gardens to me.. lol <--- which is why I hope the next housing areas are fully instances so space issues no longer exist).

I suppose you could just stick them in your hot tubs....

If they're making aquariums with models of fish for every fish (that is a lot of work.. but would be really awesome).. Then. . . . pipedream: I want to see a zelda-esq fishing system with GP point abilities.
