Steps:
1. With a PS4 controller, go to a bench
2. Repeatedly click to sit whilst also moving off the bench, making sure not to click to sit too fast/often
3. If done correctly, a client side bug will occur where your feet will appear to be underground.
4. The only way to fix the bug after doing it is to phase out, either by teleporting, walking to a different map location, or entering a duty. Mounting up will put you above ground until you dismount.
