I thought they said they would automate say 75% of the points per class and then 25% you could distribute as you wanted?

I think that would be best to be honest, you can still specialise but that way gear etc has more of an effect because everyone will have the same base.

Well are they gonna reset everyones stats then? God I hope so... and I hope they don't mess around with ur attributes too much, that's the one thing that this game had going for it... the uniqueness down to every single stat.

On a side note: I swear if chocobos don't run at 300% or faster, and you can't dismount without losing ur chocobo, then I give up, I'll play the game untill it's pay-to-play but that's it..

Really? o_o thats sounds awfull !

I mean Status points is what defines a charachter strenght and specialization, like every normal person there are smarter people with higher IQ and people with more physical strenght than other and not everyone in the world should be fit to do every single thing as they please.... I mean i know this is a game we are talking about... but if we can distribute points and they change every time we change a class... just seems wrong why would my physical strengh or intelegfence change just by the simple fact that i hold a sword or a staff o_o sounds totally stupid. If my char has alot of STR and less INT it's just normal i would be a worse mage.
And it takes away race afinnitys and advantages in certain jobs... So yea i hope ur wrong

This idea could work, if they had some crazy-advanced equipment-job manager screen.. go for it SE, the new system sounds sketchy but hey.... how much worse could it get?<3 XD (don't **** this up!)
