Can you sell FC houses/plots for when you want to upgrade to a larger one?

I just cannot find a definite answer to this question, just hearsay.

Anybody know for sure if it's possible to sell an FC house or plot (to another player/fc for example) - and how one goes about doing so?

No

You can sell the whole FC (transfer control to buyer) which will include the house.
You cannot sell the house by itself.

You can't sell but you can chose to leave this plot of land meaning you won't get any gil back and you'll have to rebuild everything.

Thanks for the responses, planning to upgrade from our current small to a medium you see and having a mil or so extra for the purchase would have been great.

Side note: you might wanna remove the hypothetical amount from the previous post if you do ever decide to sell the FC. You do t want a potential buyer seeing that you have already priced yourself, and quite low for that matter.

You get back your building construction permit which you can sell on the mb for cheaper than what people would pay right from the Housing ward itself, that's all the Gil you can get back unfortunately. Which for a small I believe was 500k( sold mine for 470k) and a medium is 1 mil (could probably get around 900k) but they take a while to sell.

No but yoshi said once there would be an option to give away plots as gifts, old info from an old live letter, may be they just rejected that feature like many others, who knows.
