Had this happening once when I landed on a fc pre-made. The people were all completely over-geared for the time (high allagan and so on) and proceeded to demolish the dungeon without even bothering to buff or anything.
They just rushed out and I was lucky to catch any kind of buffs as the healer was making her damn best to make sure I didn't get any. On top of this, she blatantly refused to heal me at all meaning I had to "sit in a corner" waiting for my HP to recover.
After the first boss they finally said something (they hadn't said anything from the beginning) and it was just "we don't need you here" and kicked me out.
So, I get harassed by elitists and on top of it, I'm the one getting booted out. According to some people in this thread, this isn't abuse at all
If I count the times when people could have been booted from our pre-mades and got 1 gil for every person that could be kicked for "different play-style", I would be filthy rich.
Just last night, 3 runs = 3 people that were bad at the game and refused to learn or listen to any kind of advice.
We had a "first timer here!! ZERG ZERG + do crap" person, a "look at me in lvl 15 CASTER (all classes) gear trying to tank a lvl 30 dungeon!" person, and a "look at me! I pull all this and die like a fly and then moan at the healer" person.
If I go by what SE says, we could have kicked them all and get someone else to fill the spot (probably another disaster anyway) but what we supposed to choose? Harassment?
If I go by some people in this thread, if your clothes are dyed the wrong color you should be kicked out because "elitism".![]()
The vote kick system needs improvement and more options. When anyone contests a kick with a ticket, SE should check out the chat logs of the people involved in the kick and see what they were saying in their FC/LS because that's where you'll find all the reasons behind a lot of vote-kick abuse.
