Event calendar added to Anniversary site.

Just as an heads-up, an anniversary event calendar has been added to the anniversary site:

* This calendar and the above link refer to the EU version of the site, so dates may vary.


Also, there’s a little error at the end of August. The “Moonfire Faire”-seasonal event is mentioned twice. The one that starts on the 28th of August (on the calendar) should be the “The Rising”-seasonal event.

One Year Anniversary Site Now Live! (08/08/2014)

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will celebrate its first anniversary on August 27, and we have a host of special events in the works for the next two months to commemorate this milestone!

Join us for a 14-hour anniversary broadcast featuring interactive events and appearances by special guests, revisit the events of the Calamity through the eyes of key characters in a series of five short stories, feast your eyes on stunning illustrations from the art team as we count down the one-year anniversary, read messages from the development team as they reflect upon the past year, and much more!

Community events also abound! Fans will have the opportunity to show off their Eorzean spirit in the One Year Anniversary Movie contest and Casting Call for Eorzean Talent event.

Rounding out the festivities is The Rising, a special in-game event commemorating the game’s first anniversary. Moonfire Faire and the Dragon Quest X, FINAL FANTASY XIII, and FINAL FANTASY XI collaboration events will also be making a return for players who missed them the last time around.

Details on all of these events can be found on the anniversary site, so keep a look out for updates, and join the fun as we celebrate one year of A Realm Reborn!

The Tales of the Calamity will start this Friday and “The Rising”-seasonal Event will start on Thursday, 2 weeks from now. I, for once, can’t wait for each and every event they have planned for the Anniversary. (^_~ )-b

Any insight as to start "Tales of the Calamity"? Or am I misunderstanding a 5-part out of game text companion as in-game content?

^You are, Auroro. It's just short stories on the site, tying in with the main storyline and giving us some insight into some past events through the eyes of major characters. Nothing ingame.
