I'm at a point where I'm sitting on the fence. If SE makes it possible for me to continue paying my sub through new means, I'll gladly do so. If not, I'll just leave quietly.

My raid team is very well established now with self sufficient leaders, no one will miss me .

Any more hoops to jump through to get SE to take my money = bye bye SE for now.

BTW, my predicament is rare. Registered the game when I was in US, moved to Asia, updated my addresses with my banks but can't change for my billing country with SE. Payment attempts through PayPal, credit cards etc keep failing because of a check against an outdated US-based billing address.

The Ultimate Game Cards were the only way I found to pay for Crysta... And with considerable inconvenience. I have to fail a transaction, note the id, provide evidences to UGC who would then complete the transaction manually through their back end system

No, just specifically UltimatePay (which was kind of a generic "this card can be used for like 100 different games" card you pick up at your local convenience store)

That's a relief a friend of mine is in a similar situation that the OP is and he pays with paypal on a site called instant-gaming.com and buys these 60 day cards official cards he reckons and they deliver it instantly via scan. It's the only way he can play it.

ultimate pay will still exist, the point system and card system they have is what is going away.

I agree they should add PayPal, many MMOs now have it as method of payments. I payed stuff with PayPal (with bank account) like Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion (directly on Blizzard's website, Blizzard takes PayPal now), many free-to-play like Champions Online, Neverwinter and asian MMOs, even the recent Elder Scrolls Online has PayPal (payable with bank account), which I used. The old Ryzom MMO has had PayPal for close to a decade now. I don't have a credit card, cannot have one, but a debit card with credit card logo so it can be helpful, but I'd rather use PayPal instead. Beside I had issue paying at first with my card, SE refused my card but it passed the second attempt.
