    Yoshida already said it, the DF estimate the time you have to wait by how long it took to the last person that tagged with the same job as you to enter. In that case let's say a scholar entered the FL and a party was not full so after 1min of wait till everyone accept, plus 2 minutes inside until the DF start to fill hole in teams when the game actually start (wich is stupid), then you can easily see how the bard had to wait 3 min more to get in.

    There's no class search here, it isn't that uncommon to enter game without any tank or healer.

    I'm on Famfrit, Maelstrom. Played a bunch this weekend. Got from rank 8 to almost 18.

    However, queue times were hugely varied. At times, I would maybe wait 7-9 minutes, on up to over 30 plus minutes at it's longest.

    I do not believe your job has anything to do with queues. I tried queueing as both DPS and healer during the long wait times, and it made absolutely no difference. Many times I would get in as summoner or bard and there wouldn't be a single healer in the group, and I would have to switch.
