[Dev] Server merge or Transfer Suggesiton

I would like to see this happen its painfully dead on my server in most places after coming back 9 months later it really hurts the game as much as all the other issues, its a mmo after all and I dont see it getting better anytime soon and PS3 release is god knows when aways we shouldn't have to suffer because of it. Would be good if they at least chopped the servers in half or close enough to it like leaving the top 3-4 servers alone.

I was anticipating them doing this sooner than now.

When I first started FFXIV the server that I wanted to join was full. Like many other players, I know many other FF players on other servers.

I agree with other people that this really would help the game if we counld transfer to a different server.

I disagree with the person who said that it would have to involve SE charging a fee. basically this game is still evolving and is in currently free to play. Perhaps after PS3 launch then SE would charge for transfers. Now it does not make any sense.

Surely they could add server transfers and merge server populations quite easily because they already did it in FF11.

Forget everyone else, just move me to Lindblum!

server merger would cut SE cost as well, by how much i dont know, i have no idea how much it cost to manage individual servers i just know its not free.
