I can't comment on that dungeon, but I've had cases (well, one in particular I can think of) where differences of approach led to some ridiculous accusations.

I was on low-level Roulette with one of my alt characters and got Copperbell. I'm not sure who was new, but we got the "someone is new to this dungeon" notice at the beginning, and three of the four of us were low-level enough to not be level-synced. So when we got to the boss, I suggested the more conservative and intended strategy rather than the more aggressive burn-the-boss strategy that's become more popular lately.

The thaumaturge railed at me about how I shouldn't give suggestions when I'd clearly never done the dungeon and knew nothing about it. He insisted that burning the boss was the only valid strategy and that it never failed. Well, I had two other characters in their upper 30s or low 40s by then, had done Copperbell many, many times, and was quite familiar with both strategies. I'd seen both succeed, and seen both fail, though proportionally, the faster strategy fails more often. I pointed that out, and I too was accused of lying, because he couldn't accept that any strategy other than the one he was familiar with could ever be legitimately used.

Ok, not exactly the same situation, since there weren't different Data Centers involved. (At least not so far as I know. Perhaps he was from a different DC before. Anyway, this happened in whichever DC Coeurl is in, as did all my prior experiences with the dungeon.) But the accusation of "lying" for knowing a different strategy was the same.
