    From what I read in the live letter, Yoshida said that he aims to make the Gold Saucer a place for entertainment and to hang out with your friends. So I guess it will be a nice place to idle while you wait for the DF to kick in.

    I appreciate the info, but I sincerely hope that isn't the case. I imagine wandering around will be amazing, doing the games once will be, maybe find a favorite of mine- but if there isn't much to "earn" I probably won't make it a go to destination.
