Summer Festival and Role Playing!

Turns out starting Thursday This week

We will be experiencing the Moonfire Faire Festival



Its mostly an homage to the August festivals all throughout Japan, either to celebrate a harvest or to celebrate new beginnings. When I was a kid, after 4th of July I didn't spend much time outside, during those months it was 90-100 degree weather, wasn't really the opportunistic time either, I had a lot of good memories... playing the older game 11, and experiencing the late summer festival, seeing the fireworks blast out of the main cities... it was technically the same 4 bits of animation, but you could see the fireworks from multiple positions due to the starting areas around the main cities, it would be good to take someone with you to see some of the interesting spots you could find watching the fireworks.

when I found out about this happening, I cried... it was like a crazy nostalgia trip... both the good and bad memories to haunt this old soul....



So yes I was very happy to find out this was gonna happen! It's just... stupid right? I mean because the festival... (even in an older video game) made such an impact for me, FF11 was the longest MMO I ever played, and that time of year was always something to look forward to, a time to relax, to have to just have some fun, and not focus on the "need to do" stuff on the game, the so called "busy work" of grinding.

as soon as I get my yukata, ima try to glamour it on anything really that works with it!

I still wanna work with the Role Playing aspect of the game,

I am still interested in setting up and starting a room or 2, but heres the thing, uuuggh I can never have enough time, Due to recent projects... work projects, I am unable to do this as a solo effort, I need help if anyone is interested... please let me know, we can all just chill at my room in the FC House! (preferably with cloths on)

Hopefully after wards we set up a date and time to meet up, and with a little help from uuummm,.... your Imagination, we can create stories to even rival the epicness of the main quest of Realm Reborn (please contact me either in Mail or in game)

With FFXIV, I'm delving deep in an MMO for the first time. Hearing about the nostalgic memories others have of MMO's, though, makes me wish I had jumped into the genre a lot sooner. I'm definitely interested in creating some awesome memories and making friends, so maybe I'll celebrate this event with you!

My life is about to get pretty busy in the next few days, but let's try to get in touch in game, and maybe we can work something out.

I havent played since 2 months after I beta tested and adamantoise was not a roleplayimg world XD.
Are there FC that roleplay now?

ive been trying to keep a group running in my FC called (haCk)

and there are a few members who are part of it, but it kinda seems they don't want to take any innitiative with it, I am not playing the game 24/7, I have a job and real world stuff, I'm not saying I need someone around when I'm not around but more members would mean more conversing without me around.

1. No God Mode..., (its kinda self explained, you are not god, or a god, or have god like powers, only allowed in BG story)

2. no +17 role playing stuff (I know thats sorta a down turn for some peeps, I dont want this to be one of those dirty Linkshell stuff, be yourself, keep in character, and try to build story over time, but you can do all these things without talking about your junk, or doing the guy on girl, or girl on girl, man on man stuff)

3. I would like to have your character, be able to provide a back ground story, now this story can be literary anything... up to the point of you waking up at that carriage in the FF14 a Realm Reborn Game, (The Sky is the limit, power of imagination!)

4. Your Character Name is the name you will go by when you RP, (so that way people are not confused who you are in chat)

These are the rules I created a month ago, so far its been working good, but if you have any suggestions be sure to let me know, mail me, message me in game!

Its run on a linkshell, so technically you don't need to leave your FC, if you want we can have a meeting place where we can all meet, and I can give you invites to my linkshell,

RP is not something I think can be set on one specific server, I honestly think it happens in any server as long as there are people willing to take part.
