It's a good weapon. He was just mocking the min/maxers who will spend millions just to get that extra minuscule dps that's not even worth it.i really dont get whats so bad. it seems like a pretty solid dps weapon. great strength, it adds to accuracy, so that isnt always a problem, theres cetermination to increase the amount of damage, and you have decent crit rate. honestly, im not entirely certain how important vit is past T5, but you definitely have a lot of it.
i understand the post now, but i dont understand the seppuku time reference.
i also dont understand the "leroy jenkins" reference that i am always seeing, i recognize the name, but the meaning eludes me.
I'll bite if this is a troll bait :x
"Seppuku", without going into details, is Japanese style suicide. Basically sword on abdomen then throat. What he means by that is that he had "dishonored" the monks by making that weapon he should kill himself.
"Leroy Jenkins" just look it up on YouTube.
ive known about seppuku, but i had never learned what it was called. it all makes sense to me now.I'll bite if this is a troll bait :x

ill look it up on youtube when i get home.
And why mock people for putting in the extra effort to maximize their weapon? I say more power to them for putting in the time and effort. As for myself, I have yet to collect a single atma.
Because some of them are elitist enough to call anyone who doesn't have a 31/44 crit/det or whatever the maximum output for their novus is a trash. Even though the increase of dps is minuscule but to them it's worth the extra 4 million which doesn't make sense. Oh and if you're a true min/max person you wouldn't even go the novus route which makes them even more hypocricital.
So because you believe some of them to be elitist you wish to mock people that maximize their gear? Is the increase minuscule? Does it really not make sense to spend that extra gil? It's just in game currency. Not like they're throwing down 4 million USD. If the increase in damage output is something like 1-2% that seems more than worth it to me. I like to maximize my output. That's part of the fun. You need things to strive for when content is on farm, no? Otherwise you just get bored.
Perhaps you like being critical because you do not put in the same effort as them. It's fine if you don't want to 'try hard', but it is no reason put down others for doing so.
Look sweetie, I was just explaining to the one who asked what was the op trying to say. I gave the explanation to why to OP made this thread. You gotta relax a bit. And tell me, how am I mocking them? All I said is that it's not worth it, it's a waste of money considering SE will allow you to redo your scroll in the future and yes if you checked the dps of someone with a 31/44 along with someone who didn't max, let's say 30/30/15 (crit/det/accuracy) the difference is minuscule. If the first one is doing 405 dps the other would be doing 400. Assuming their skills are equal.
One last thing, stop being so defensive sweetheart. Like I said, I was just explaining why the op created this thread and I gave my opinion . Assuming you read my posts. I didn't say min/max people are bad or anything. All I'm saying is that doing it on a novus is not worth it
