Key Bindings and PS4

I have gotten a keyboard and mouse to connect perfectly using a PS4. The mouse works just like on the PC (I have not yet loaded macros to the mouse memory). The keyboard works just like on the PC with the below exception.

When attempting to bind keyboard keys to the PS4 hotbars I have run into a problem. Using Hotbar 1 which has 12 keybindings - number 1 through = - I find that these keys are bound somehow to the "Actions and Traits" actions 1 through 12. If as a Botonist I press "1" "triangulate" triggers. Press "6" and "Stealth" triggers it being the 6th icon in "Actions and Traits" and so on.

I also cannot find out for the PS4 hotbars which slots actually corresponds to the hotbar slots on the screen. Does anyone have a diagram of what a hotbar looks like on the screen (with the 16 boxes) that points out the slots assigned to each box?

Keyboard bindings don't apply to the cross hotbar that's activated with the controller. They apply to the "regular," straight-line keyboard hotbars that you probably have hidden. The first two regular hotbars also happen to automatically fill in with a class's skills in the order they're learned. So what you're seeing is a hidden hotbar activating on keypress, not skills activating out of the spellbook.

You can show the hotbars in question through either the HUD layout (click once to select a given item, right-click to make it visible; hidden items are blue in HUD layout), or by going into the hotbar section of the character config menu and ticking their checkboxes. Once they're visible, you'll be able to see what's going on, as 1 through = are displayed in order, left to right, on that hotbar.

That's an answer that I can understand. I didn't think to go in the HUD interface in order to make PC type hotbars visible. I'll try it later on today. Once done I'll be able to play on the PS4 as if I was using a PC.
