    Dark Knight "Glass Cannons" is the polar opposite of Paladin. Enormous single hit damage and specializes in low level Black Magic instead of White Magic. Dark Knight abilities generate a lot of hate when used. To use Dark Knight optimally requires a lot of skill, and the player will have to be very careful of the hate threshold. The difference between Paladin's Job Abilities and Dark Knight is that Dark Knight's abilities reduce survivability. Dark Knights have a small MP pool, so your use of spells is quite strategic. Only the dark-based spells of a Dark Knight are useful most of the time. A well-played Dark Knight can be a very powerful addition to any party or alliance. A poorly-played Dark Knight can just die a whole lot or just be a crippled damage dealer.

    If they add Dark Knights to FFXIV, they'll be tanks. The only reason they haven't been added yet is they're probably busy coming up with a way to make them distinct from Warriors.

Samurai has the amazing ability to control his TP better than any other job in the game, allowing for a number of weapon skills in almost no time flat. Although very accurate and deadly, Samurai is one of few jobs who can take damage almost as well as he can dish it out. That isn’t to say Samurai can tank, it’s just that Samurai can survive a lot better than others. A great melee front-line fighter, and a great support job for anyone using two-handed weapons. Samurai also looks amazing on the front lines, performing some of the most majestic and amazing-looking weapon skills you could think of.

    If they do that, they might as well make Samurai a Healer, because it'd make about as much sense as making Dark Knight a tank. While we're at it, they should drastically change White Mage and turn it into a DPS!

    As always, speculation is just that.

    Dark Knight by all rights is not a Tank. With abilities that reduce survivability to increase damage. It would seem almost comical to watch you get one shot consistently.

    Samurai however could be a tank similar to Warrior, except instead of abilities that gained life. Perhaps abilities that manipulate when damage is taken.

    A buff that absorbs damage, then when it ends, the samurai suffers a debuff (bleed) for the accumulated damage. gives the healers more time to keep him up, and prevents him from being taken out by Death Sentence-esque attacks.

    I could also see Sam with parry/counter attacks that convert damage taken into damage dealt.

    Need help from the Community.

    Ability names and etc.

    Say for which class it is and etc. I like some peoples ideas. Samurai will be positional damage dealers which same survivability as a Dragoon.
    Passive ability is when they are on low HP, They land all criticals. (Str and Dex)

    D.Knights will be DPS monsters in replacing health. (What I think they might benefit from allocating stats evenly. 15 str 15 vit or maybe 20 str and 10 Vit.

    Reason being all the classes right now are one way allocation on stats.
