Although rogue/nin is not being added until 2.4 is there going to be a weapon we can acquire from the lightning even for rogue. Since it's being brought back.

Seriously doubt it
they're only bringing back the events, they're not adding anything to them.
Hey, if lightning can strike the same tree three times now, what is preventing it from striking a fourth or fifth time?
Maybe if it comes back next year for the anniversary, then there might be new weapons for new classes. Unfortunately LR event will be before 2.4 so i don't see the NIN weapons coming.
But we can still hope for Noel's weapons.
They could always do something like allow people to 'buy' a claim ticket during the event for the Rogue weapon...
While that would be neat, I don't see it happening. The best shot at getting a rogue weapon is waiting to see if they bringing it back for the 2nd anniversary.
Hopefully the event will be repeated yearly, so next year we might get a XIII weapon for Rogue and whatever the gun class will be.
Yeah. I like the idea of these cross-promotion events being a recurring Anniversary event. Maybe next year, the individual events could all be unofficially merged together to form one super-event. Call it something like "Heralds of Legacy" or something. With that, we won't technically have to have 10 different events all going on at once, but instead have one event with everything in it. Lightning Strikes, Burgeoning Dread, that event with the Blockman, the inevitable FFXV "Hail to the Prince" / FFT-0 "One Card Shy Of A Full Deck" / FFXII HD "Enter Stage Right" cross-promotion events, maybe even a G-Bike "Highway to the Void" cross-promotion?
Oh, the possibilities.
EDIT: None of those names are official. I just like naming things. Maybe I'm secretly Namingway in disguise?

Just be happy the event returned, as SE had no plans for it but the great success of the game had made them rethink about it![]()
