I got a Cockatiel myself and i must say that the chair is the least of my worries when it comes to this fellow:


He goes straight for the keys on my Keyboard, the cables and anything shiny or reflective like the LCD screen of my phone. He has pulled out the SIM-card more than once… (>_<; )

Mine goes for everything he can get his beak on, and his beak is quite large ..




And he used to be soooo cute




As for my workstation.. It's currently being remodelled and is a total mess.

The beak of destiny is precisely why I stick with a little bourke. No way near as cuddly as a 'tiel, but so much more laid back. Super <3 birds though!

Wow all these clean desks and all, and here I am sitting at a messy dining table because there is no room for a pc in my room...
I do get a dog up here a lot who wants to play with me though!

New 4k monitor, FFXIV looks amazing on it.

I've thought about moving to 4k from my current x1600, but I'm not ready to pay the price for a proper IPS panel yet, they're still in the 2k or so range for a good one. I won't ever game on a TN unless I have no other choice.

Course, that statement is quite humorous when you look at the other hardware I have.

EDIT: Not to mention that true 60Hz 4k panels are only barely coming out as of the last few months.
