"What's the point of that?"

i was saying whats the point of just saying instead of giving us armor we get a mat for the armor and either pay alot of money to a random crafter craft it ourselfs or get a friend to craft it how does that change anything? i mean the drop was the only hard part once u have it its all hurr durr who can make these for me instead of awesome i have new armor

We could just add boats and ships to get to dungeons in the first place.
We could just make monsters drop full sets of gear and armor, I mean, who needs all that willy nilly assembling of gear sets?
Why do we even have dungeons. I mean, let's just have a boss monster that drops a bunch of loot. All those mobs before him are just an extra step that wouldn't change anything to most people other than postponing when they get sweet loot and a difficult battle.

tbh (I) would rather go through a dungeon and get armor from the dungeon instead of a mat and then do another thing getting ppl together and paying them to make an item i got from the dungeonWe could just add boats and ships to get to dungeons in the first place.

crafters are still in the loop...they just have to grind out +3 gear to compete with the city and raid gear, or just +1 some of the NM craft gear.
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
What I would like in crafting to make it fun for me and my hubby is to be able to help each other with crafting. Say he has CAR leveled and I have LTR leveled...and there is a recipe that indeed does require both...but maybe I don't have the CAR leveled...maybe I could use his help to create an item? I think that would be a lot of fun.

NM loot and what not tends to be very specific, and thats before taking into account actual looks and colors.
So anyone that actually still wants to look fashionable does need crafters. :<
They already mentioned a looooooooooooooong time ago that they are still looking into the concept of group crafting but will not implement it until it has a purpose. It was one of the systems that didn't make it into launch and the current team is holding off on it until they can properly implement it.
