It's sad that you lost control of your FC, but FCs can't be left stranded with an absent leader. So yeah, leadership automatically passing to someone else brings a lot more good to the game than bad.

I agree with this. Free Companies can and WILL fall apart without active leadership, so if that person didn't take over... it would be very likely that the FC as a whole would fall apart. I'm sorry you don't like or perhaps weren't aware of the 35-day policy, but I think it's fair.

It's a Game, Not Real life. wasn't your guild. It was a FC that you where on top of. Sadly you where gone beyond the 35 day limit and SE isn't going to pick and choice between someone gone for 35 days and someone gone for 3 years and comes back.

The point is, If the FC members are bound to you, Start a new FC and start over. Other get in line because someone stood up while you where gone and kept things going.

This of it like this. If the leader of you country couldn't do his duty to run the country he would be kicked out of office same thing just happened to you.




Also for all the people that beleive a FC can't run without a leader, I was in a LS in FFXI for 6 years , 5 of which the Leader was gone. We where only forced to get a new leader when they merged servers. There was 20 active members and they all helped out the active and non active members. Sadly FFXI isn't FFXIV and I couldn't see FFXIV FC lasting without someone calling some shots.
