Please relay to the Devs that a "Wardrobe" system would be AWESOME!!!

Right now, to use the Vanity/Glamour system, it requires you to actually have the item on-hand. I would like to ask that the Devs consider adding an Account-wide "Wardrobe" system.

Basically, what a Wardrobe system is that, once you've equipped a particular style of item before, its appearance is permanently "unlocked". This means you no longer have to hold on to that specific item, if the only thing you want to keep is its appearance. Keeping in mind that a ton of items share the same graphical style, merely different coloring or stats, it just makes it a lot easier to manage.

Even better, however, is that it promotes even more creativity, because when you have the full suite of options available to you, then players might consider making more nuanced "looks" for their characters, beyond the typical "Sets" of armor. It gets players thinking about item-graphics they might not have even considered.

And if there's one thing I know about Final Fantasy XIV, it's that the music is incredible. But the other thing I know about Final Fantasy XIV is that virtually every single weapon and armor-piece in this game is GORGEOUS, and a Wardrobe system would be a great way to show that off!!!

Also, another nice little perk of a Wardrobe system? By making it Account-wide, it means that you can start new characters, and have some cool options available to them, as well! Myself, for example; I would *NEVER* play a Lalafell as my primary character, but I also *LOVE* the idea of making an "Onion Knight" sort of character, and a Wardrobe system would allow that to happen, without having to just completely abandon my current Miqo'te, who I think looks really cool anyways.

Finally, I would simply ask that, like the upcoming Anniversary Event, you guys consider making some previously-removed items available again. The Onion Helm from way back and more-recent Moogle Hat are great examples; they weren't super-exciting at the time, because they were essentially useless, but now that they can be used to custom-tailor a character's appearance, I would purchase those if made available for a limited time again.

Thanks for reading, and I would greatly appreciate if you guys could relay this post to the Devs, just so they might consider the suggestion

Onion Helm is still available though - if you can track down an unused code voucher for it from a 1.0 Collector's Edition that is (same goes with the Garlond Goggles from the first run of the 1.0 'standard' edition). The moogle hat is gone though as that was just a perk for preordering ARR and was always mentioned as being 'limited time'. But I digress...

Although I admit I wish the glamour system of FFXIV was more streamlined like simply having an extra set of slots for 'glamour', if I remember rightly SE actually did plan originally to have the glamour system in that way, but discovered there were too many technical hurdles to overcome (mostly with extra code required to be processed server side), and with time running out (specifically, impatient players), SE took the easier option and went with the glamour system we have now. So although it's probably possible to have something like you propose, I think SE will probably just stick with the system they implemented sadly.
