Repetitive grind parties should NOT be the main source of leveling

I'm not sure that's interpretable for the purpose of this discussion O.o. All it says is that 19.3% of NA poll voters felt there was a "Lack of party-based battle tactics" which doesn't directly imply they want grind parties.

It can imply they want other things to do with a group besides leves and grinding (and as a result we got dungeons).

Not trying to be snooty or anything just pointing that out =/.

But in that same question PVE won out overall, so you're right with the dungeons and all.

It also doesn't *not* mean grinding parties. Unless I missed something, wanting to group for leveling usually means grinding.

True, but I assume that's what most people were thinking when they selected it. Anyway I don't think ranking up should be centered around grind parties either. I would prefer it to be mostly a solo thing with option of partying and various content centered around partying.

I agree with Ventus. Those results do not in any way reflect how people want to grind. If they had asked a question like "How do you prefer to rank up?" it would be another story.

Where has Yoshi ever stated that they were going to be a staple part of levelling? Never.

You're in between patches that are radically changing the game, people. For the love of god, suck it up and be patient.

Im actually pretty happy SE doesnt make the leveling system like the 78927602578 MMO's out there where you just talk to a NPC, do a short quest, and they hand you 1 level worth of EXP

Yeah, they put in long quests which make you run across the world and back for level 1 experience. Good game SE.
